Daniel Alves foi absolvido da acusação de agressão sexual que enfrentava na Espanha. O Tribunal de Justiça da Catalunha concluiu por unanimidade que o depoimento da jovem que acusava o ex-jogador é insuficiente para sustentar a condenação do réu e revogou a sentença contra o brasileiro.
Daniel Alves havia sido condenado a quatro anos e meio de prisão por agressão sexual, em Barcelona. A denúncia veio de uma mulher de 23 anos que, segundo a corte, foi abusada por Alves no banheiro de uma discoteca em Barcelona na madrugada de 31 de dezembro de 2022.
O tribunal rejeita os recursos da Procuradoria – que solicitava a nulidade parcial da sentença e, subsidiariamente, a elevação da pena para 9 anos – e da acusação particular – que pedia a elevação da pena para 12 anos – e absolve o acusado, deixando sem efeito as medidas cautelares impostas e declarando, de ofício, as custas processuais – diz o comunicado.
