Em uma ação de combate ao tráfico de drogas, a Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF) apreendeu uma quantidade significativa de entorpecentes na tarde dessa sexta-feira (13), na BR 116, em Vitória da Conquista (BA).
Um veículo que seguia de São Paulo para o interior do Ceará transportava clandestinamente 17,4kg de cocaína e 15,3kg de maconha.
A operação, que teve como foco a repressão à criminalidade, resultou na abordagem de um automóvel com três ocupantes, sendo dois homens e uma mulher. Durante a fiscalização, os policiais descobriram os ilícitos no porta-malas do veículo, levando à apreensão das substâncias ilícitas.
Segundo informações da PRF, o passageiro do veículo afirmou que receberia uma quantia em dinheiro pelo transporte das drogas até o interior do Ceará. Por outro lado, o condutor do veículo alegou que foi contratado apenas para fazer a viagem e não tinha conhecimento da presença dos entorpecentes no veículo.
A mulher também afirmou desconhecer a existência das substâncias proibidas em seu automóvel. Todos os envolvidos, juntamente com as drogas apreendidas, foram encaminhados à Delegacia da Polícia Civil em Vitória da Conquista, onde o flagrante foi registrado.
