Um grave acidente de trânsito registrado na manhã desta segunda-feira (13), na BR-030, no trecho entre Brumado e o distrito de Sussuarana, no sudoeste da Bahia, terminou com uma pessoa morta e outra gravemente ferida.
A vítima fatal foi identificada como Miguel de Castro Meira, de 58 anos, que morreu ainda no local da ocorrência. A outra vítima sofreu ferimentos graves, recebeu atendimento do Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (SAMU 192) e foi encaminhada para uma unidade hospitalar em Brumado.
De acordo com informações da Polícia Militar Rodoviária Estadual, equipes do Posto 1/1 foram acionadas pelo Centro Integrado de Comunicações (CICOM) para atender à ocorrência no km 380 da rodovia.
As informações iniciais apontam que Miguel conduzia uma motocicleta Honda CG 150 Titan KS, de cor vermelha, no sentido Sussuarana, quando um caminhão que trafegava na mesma direção realizou uma ultrapassagem. Durante a manobra, o motociclista teria perdido o controle da direção, saído da pista e caído às margens da rodovia.
Após o acidente, o motorista do caminhão deixou o local sem prestar assistência às vítimas. Até o fechamento desta matéria, o veículo e o condutor ainda não haviam sido identificados.
Natural de Brumado, Miguel de Castro Meira morava na Fazenda Tamboril, localizada na zona rural do município. O Departamento de Polícia Técnica (DPT) realizou a perícia no local, e o caso deverá ser investigado pelas autoridades competentes para esclarecer as circunstâncias do acidente e identificar o caminhoneiro envolvido.
