Os moradores do distrito de Itaquaraí, em Brumado, estão prestes a conquistar um importante avanço na área da comunicação. Nesta sexta-feira (24), o prefeito Fabrício Abrantes realizou a entrega do alvará que autoriza o início da construção da torre de telefonia móvel, oficializando o começo das obras que levarão sinal de celular à comunidade.
A implantação da estrutura atende a uma demanda antiga dos moradores, que há anos convivem com a ausência de cobertura de telefonia móvel e internet, enfrentando dificuldades para manter contato com familiares, acessar serviços digitais e realizar atividades do dia a dia.
O projeto é fruto de uma parceria entre a Prefeitura de Brumado e o Governo da Bahia, com o objetivo de ampliar a infraestrutura de telecomunicações e promover a inclusão digital nas comunidades da zona rural. Além de melhorar a comunicação, a chegada da torre deve impulsionar o desenvolvimento local, facilitar o acesso a serviços públicos e fortalecer atividades econômicas da região.
Durante o ato, o prefeito Fabrício Abrantes ressaltou a relevância do investimento para os moradores de Itaquaraí.
“Estamos transformando um compromisso em realidade. A instalação dessa torre representa mais do que sinal de celular; significa mais segurança, acesso à informação, oportunidades e qualidade de vida para a população. Nosso trabalho continua para garantir que todos os distritos de Brumado recebam investimentos que façam a diferença na vida das pessoas”, destacou.
Com a emissão do alvará, a obra entra oficialmente em sua fase de execução. Após a conclusão dos serviços e a ativação da estrutura, Itaquaraí passará a contar com cobertura de telefonia móvel, proporcionando mais conectividade e aproximando a comunidade dos avanços tecnológicos.
