Na manhã desta quarta-feira, o município de Brumado esteve representado na reunião do Fórum Permanente de Autoridades de Trânsito da Bahia (FOTRAN), realizado em Salvador. O encontro contou com a presença do diretor-geral do DETRAN/BA, Max Passos.
Osmar Botelho, superintendente municipal de Trânsito e Transportes (SMTT) de Brumado e atual 1º secretário do FOTRAN, participou da reunião representando o município. Durante o encontro, foram debatidos temas como repasses da RENAINF, projetos de infraestrutura viária, capacitação técnica das equipes municipais de trânsito e ações conjuntas de educação e sinalização.
Na oportunidade, foram protocolados pedidos de visita técnica e tratadas a viabilidade de instalação de novas sinalizações em Brumado, além de um pedido de material para campanhas educativas de trânsito.
Osmar também aproveitou a viagem para protocolar junto à Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF) um pedido de viabilidade para doação de veículos que possam reforçar a frota da SMTT no trabalho de fiscalização e mobilidade urbana.
O diálogo constante entre os órgãos municipais e estaduais fortalece as políticas públicas de trânsito e contribui para uma cidade mais segura e integrada.
