Nesta quinta-feira (12), a 79ª Companhia Independente de Polícia Militar (CIPM), sediada em Poções, foi reconhecida em Salvador com o certificado de referência estadual em polícia comunitária pelo projeto “Patrulha Preventiva: Policiamento Comunitário na Prática”. A iniciativa foi premiada como vencedora do Selo SPREV 2024 na categoria “Ações Institucionais e Comunitárias de Relevância Social”.
O reconhecimento destaca o compromisso da unidade em fortalecer a segurança pública por meio de ações integradas e preventivas que aproximam a polícia da comunidade. A Major Paula Fagundes, comandante da 79ª CIPM, celebrou a conquista, reafirmando o compromisso da equipe com o Policiamento Comunitário e enfatizando a importância das ações sociais para aprimorar os serviços prestados à população de Poções e região.
