Desde o inicio da manhã desta quarta-feira (27), policiais militares baianos estão empregados na 18ª edição da Operação Força Total nos 417 municípios do estado, das 7h às 22h.
A operação visa coibir o cometimento de crimes e ampliar a segurança através de ações preventivas e ostensivas com o emprego máximo da tropa (efetivo operacional e administrativo).
Os policiais militares em ação atuam a pé e com a utilização de carros, motocicletas, aeronaves, além de todo o aporte tecnológico e informações de inteligência nas blitze e incursões em áreas urbanas e rurais na Bahia.
Balanço – No acumulado das 17 edições, a Polícia Militar da Bahia retirou de circulação 362 armas de fogo, prendeu 593 criminosos em flagrante e recuperou 251 veículos. O empenho da tropa também resultou no registro de 334 termos circunstanciados de ocorrência (TCOs), na apreensão de 112 adolescentes e no cumprimento de 221 mandados de prisão nos 417 municípios baianos.
