O Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia (Inmet) indica previsão de chuva em praticamente toda a Região Nordeste do Brasil a partir da próxima terça-feira (19) até, pelo menos, sexta-feira (22).
A previsão é de chuvas intensas em praticamente toda a região, com volumes acumulados que podem chegar a 100 milímetros em 24 horas, principalmente no litoral sul da Bahia.
A chuva deve se iniciar no sul da Bahia e avançar para o interior da região, afetando praticamente todo o Nordeste.
O Inmet explica que a chuva será causada pela combinação de fatores, como a circulação atmosférica em vários níveis, a presença de um Vórtice Ciclônico de Altos Níveis (VCAN) e um Sistema Frontal (SF) no Oceano Atlântico, no sul da Bahia.
Além destes sistemas, também vale destacar a influência da variabilidade intrasazonal (Oscilação de Madden-Jullian, OMJ), que favorece o aumento da umidade, nebulosidade e precipitação no Nordeste.
As chuvas devem se generalizar por todo o Centro Oeste ao longo da semana.
